Data deletion
Last updated 21 October 2026
How to remove the data ContentFactory holds about you. Which steps apply depends on how you used it: as an operator who connected a channel, as someone who commented on a post it published, or as a reader of a workspace website.
Facebook: disconnect your Page
- Sign in to ContentFactory and open Channels.
- On the Facebook Page card, choose Disconnect.
This deletes the Page access token, your Facebook user id and the one-way hash of that id at once. The Page's name and id stay on the disconnected channel until the workspace's data is erased. Posts already published stay on your Page; ContentFactory can no longer edit or delete them.
You can also revoke access from Facebook's side: in Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find ContentFactory and remove it. Our token stops working immediately; the channel shows as disconnected on its next attempt to publish.
LinkedIn: disconnect your profile
Same steps: Channels → the LinkedIn card → Disconnect. This deletes the access token at once. Your member name, picture and member id stay on the disconnected channel until the workspace's data is erased. From LinkedIn's side, Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services lets you remove ContentFactory.
Comments you left on a published post
Deleting your comment on Facebook, LinkedIn or Telegram does not reach our copy. To have it removed, email the address below with a link to the post or the Page it appeared on; we delete the stored comment within 30 days.
Your account and workspace
Delete your account yourself: sign in, open Account (your email at the bottom of the sidebar), type your email under Delete account and choose Delete my account. Your email, password and Terms acceptances are removed at once. The sites you are the only member of are deleted with your account, with their posts, comments, metrics and audit log, and every connected channel's tokens; you leave the sites you share. If you are the only owner of a site other people belong to, hand it over first (Members → Transfer ownership).
To delete one workspace and keep your account, an owner deletes it in Workspace → Delete workspace. When an owner deletes a workspace, its data is kept for 7 days so the owner can restore it, then erased. You can also email us from the address you sign in with; we delete within 30 days and confirm by email.
Readers of a workspace website
View counts are kept only as daily hashes that cannot identify you, and there is nothing to delete. A comment you left on an article is removed on request; send us the article link.
If you subscribed to a workspace's newsletter, unsubscribe from any of its emails, or ask the site's owner to remove you.
